JOB Overview....
Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES for Exchange) Solutions Architect
- Architect BES 5.1 solution
- Tier 4 level support of escalated system issues
- Understand the complete Blackberry Enterprise Server end to end infrastructure
- Patching/Hotfix testing, documentation and deployment process architect
- Ensuring Service Levels are maintained by use of Performance monitoring and alerting tools
- Capacity management & Trend analysis
- Work with other Infrastructure teams (maintenance windows, system change requirements)
- Engineer application deployment solutions
Projects
- Engage and liaise with Project Management to maintain controlled project
- Ensure timely project updates to Project Manager and Wireless Messaging manager.
- Coordinate with Application Development where appropriate
- Identify areas of opportunity and raise issues when identified
- Architect self-service solutions for the Blackberry offering
Reporting
- Weekly task and achievements be reported to the team manager and team when requested
- Attend meetings when requested to, with appropriate preparation
