Roles and responsibility for
Data Warehousing Manager , MORGAN STANLEY, Mumbai:
| This is data architect / business intelligencesenior developer with CAM Core Application Management (CAM) group of IBD division. The team is responsible for the data and reporting strategy for Investment Banking Division. Primary responsibilities for this position include: •Manage the IBD Warehouse data and coordinate data flow across upstream and downstream systems. •Help with Requirements Gathering, Design and Development for new BI Reports and ETL •Help with implementation of IBD data security model and entitlements mechanism. •Help ensure and enforce design and data consistency •Coordinate with business analyst and users to support IBD business function. •Assist with operational issues and logistics. •Work with various application development team to design application model and database schema. | ||||||||
| Skills Required | We are looking for a self starter, confident, person with EXCELLENT communication skills (this position requires extensive interaction with the BU). It’s critical that the candidate must be well organized, know how to multi task, be comfortable to push back, step to ask for more. Technical Skills • Good Understanding and experience with large and complex Data Warehousing systems •Business Objects XI universe and report design and development experience. •Hands on expertise of Informatica ETL tool. •Skilled in Unix and PERL scripting •Advanced SQL writing and query optimization skills using SYBASE database. | |||||||
