Job Description:
The incumbent will be heading up the Delivery Management function in Mumbai with a direct reporting line to the Global Head of Delivery Management, and a dotted line report to the Asian Regional Head. Managing a team, the candidate is accountable for all functions performed by Delivery Management and the associated control framework within the group. Excellent communication, organizational, time management and team working skills are essential, as constant communication will be required between internal functional groups, fund accounting sites and client teams across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include:
- Head the Delivery Management function in Mumbai
- Accountable for the upload of OTC derivative cash and valuations into the Fund Accounting systems for selected client deliveries in the Asian and European time zone
- Responsible and accountable for the review of all exception processing completed by the functional teams, culminating with sign off to the Fund Accounting teams, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to guarantee accuracy and timeliness of every delivery
- Oversight of the end to end operational process, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Ensure the successful implementation of strategic architecture into the Delivery Management process
- Onboard new clients and processes whilst always maintaining an optimally efficient operational model
- Recruit and retain high caliber staff. Provide staff with challenges and development opportunities in order to continuously improve performance
- Produce MIS and KPI’s for distribution to senior management
- Ensure all controls, procedures and service level agreements are up to date and current
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in leading a team of operations staff. They must have experience working in a Fund Manager/Fund Administration company and have the ability to work on multiple clients and deliveries at any given time

The specific experience necessary for this position is:
- At least 5 years experience operating in a managerial capacity
- Experience and working knowledge of OTC Derivatives
- Working knowledge of WINS and ancillary systems
- Proven analytical skills
- Control focused, identifying control gaps and risks and working with a risk and controls area to close these gaps
