Roles and responsibility for Security Controls QA specialist , Financial Service, Bangalore :

 
Responsibilities
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for documentation, training and quality assurance, including:
 
  • Ensuring all code released to UAT (user acceptance testing) has undergone code review
  • Ensuring availability, functionality and 'pass' rate of automated unit testing for all new modules
  • Delivering comprehensive end user documentation for all new functionality
  • Design & delivery of fully documented 'best practice' test & documentation practices
  • Delivery of comprehensive end user user acceptance tests for new releases & documents
  • Design & delivery of comprehensive end user training for major toolkit functionality & tasks
  • Engaging with end-user and co-worker architecture & design discussions for future releases
  • Regular, documented, meetings with 1st line support to prioritise high workload problems
  • Delivering 'lessons learned' process improvements after DBtoolkit outages and major releases
  • Security & Audit compliance - to work with IRM group to ensure FSA standards are upheld.
  • Expanding knowledge of JPM systems and applications
 

Mandatory skills (Quality Assurance)
 
  • Extremely strong distributed written and spoken English
  • Strong ability to simplify explanation of technical issues & issue formal improvement proposals
  • Strong experience designing / automating unit testing
  • Strong experience implementing software lifecycle processes & approaches
  • Strong experience documenting & implementing large scale functional end user tests
  • Strong process analysis & reporting skills
  • Strong previous experience running end user and support staff technical training
  • Experience in a customer relationship management role
 
Additional Skills Desirable
  • Experience as a software developer
  • Experience as a unix or database support member
  • Experience of working in InfoSec or Risk management roles (auditor, pen testing, etc)
  • Experience with client/server applications
 
Experience Required
 
  • Excellent technical knowledge gained from a hands on role within a global organisation. Skills must be current and include;
  • 1 years experience as a technical author
  • 1 years experience providing training to end users / technical support staff
 
Qualifications/Education Preferred
 
·         CISSP,CSSLP,GIAC,GSSP or other recognised security practitioner/development certification
  • Minimum of degree level education
 
Personal
 
  • Self-starter with ability to acquire new skills autonomously
  • Willingness to be self critical, assess deficiencies in code or process and propose solutions
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
